The Social Commission works to welcome both new and existing members of the parish by offering a variety of events that build community. To get involved in any of the following ministries or committees, please contact the parish office at 612-866-5089 or General Email.

Community Builders

This group improves community relations between/among generations by sponsoring activities like Fellowship Sundays, St. Nick’s breakfast, pancake breakfasts, pig roasts, spaghetti dinners and more. For more information please contact John at 612-866-2342.

Fall Festival

St. Peter’s fall festival is a parish-wide event for the whole community to enjoy. Volunteers are always needed. Please call to offer your expertise. Our 2015 festival will be “Oktoberfest” with Elaine chairing the event. Contact her at 612-861-3142 to learn more.

Knights of Columbus Roundtable

The Knights of Columbus is an organization of Catholic men whose foundation is based on the principles of unity, charity to those in need, and fraternity toward fellow Knights. The principle of patriotism was later added to reflect the love of one’s country. All Knights in the parish, regardless of their council affiliation, are members of the Round Table. The Knights are available to assist the parish and pastor by washing windows, assisting in decorating the church and more. For more information please contact Pat at 612-861-3981.

Pete’s Boutique

St. Peter’s annual craft and art sale, generally held the last Saturday of October, is called Pete’s Boutique. Call the parish office if you are interested in selling your goods at this great community event.

St. Peter’s Boosters

The Boosters were formed as a way for Blessed Trinity (BT) parents who are also parishioners at St. Peter’s to boost awareness and promote school spirit, while raising money to support BT activities. Sponsored events include the Turkey and Ham Bingos and children’s games at our fall festival. These events are fun for the whole family and allow parishioners to support our parish school while witnessing the commitment BT parents have for both church and school. For more information please contact Eric & Kristin at 952-393-5747.

St. Pete’s Meet-N-Greet

This group personally welcomes newly registered parishioners at St. Peter’s with welcome baskets. They try to make a connection so new parishioners feel comfortable and are better able to learn about parish life. They extend a friendly hand and are willing to mentor new parishioners to whatever extent desired. For more information please contact Mary Kay at 651-687-0758.
